How long does a buyer have to pay for an item on ebay?
Q. I sold a engine on ebay that was purchased a week ago. However the buyer did not contact or make payment or anything. Please help me. Because if no payment is received I would like to relist the item!!! I already tried contacting them, no reply.

A. Send them a polite reminder, if you havent heard anything open a non paying bidder dispute on ebay. I do this on Day 8 (8 days after the auction end date), this will get their attention. Communicate through the dispute console only & dont close it until you have the payment in hand not the promise. Dont hear from them at all, close the dispute when it allows you to & give them a strike. Then after that process is done, you can relist your item. The above is the process I use but generally after my friendly reminder they pay up.
