A. You don't need a license to babysit, although you will need to report the income on your taxes if you make more than $600 in a year. You DO need a license to operate a daycare center. You can go to school for that at a college or trade school, and some online colleges offer courses in ECE (Early Childhood Education).

Do the LA County animal shelters use dissolving sutures or do they need to be removed?
Q. I adopted my dog on January 30th and she was spayed the 29th? I know the healing process is anywhere from 10-14 days. Does she have any sutures that need to be removed or do they just dissolve? She desperately needs to be groomed but she can't until she's healed and I don't want to go back to the groomers and have them tell me they have to be removed.

Q. I adopted my dog on January 30th and she was spayed the 29th? I know the healing process is anywhere from 10-14 days. Does she have any sutures that need to be removed or do they just dissolve? She desperately needs to be groomed but she can't until she's healed and I don't want to go back to the groomers and have them tell me they have to be removed.

A. I checked their web site and it says they do not spay/neuter..so I am stumped, call them, or whoever did the surgery and ask, they should have told you when you picked up your dog. I checked www.animalcare/lacounty.g ov
