Q. i've got this project where i need to submit full monthly and yearly financial books of a marketing organization. anyone knows how this agencies work and how they make their revenue? are they charging per hour, or per job? my agency is meant to offer market research and consulting as well as poster printings, etc. i would need to know on average how much money i should expect to make, purely theoretical. thanks a lot.

A. Depends on the type of marketing/advertising done. This is all hypothetical, but maybe it will help with your project: Lets say company X sells advertisements for billboards. They charge $2,000 a month per each billboard. And they own 10 billboards, so the companies monthly revenue would be $20,000. Now, let's say company Y sells advertisements on the radio. They charge $150 a minute for each minute played on the radio. They have 5,000 sellable minutes per a month, so their monthly revenue would be $750,000. Hope that helps.
